Welcome to my „KS Studio“

I was born in Austria, and life has taken me through different countries before leading me to Svalbard and now the Norwegian mainland. Along the way, nature has always been close to my heart — and living in the Arctic has given me a special appreciation for the wildlife, landscapes, colours, and little details that make these places so unique.

KS Studio is a place for my illustrations, books, prints, and other creative projects — inspired by nature, Arctic wildlife, and the places I have called home.

Many of my illustrations begin with the animals I encounter or learn about along the way. Polar bears, reindeer, Arctic foxes, birds, whales, and all the other creatures that call the Arctic home often find their way onto my paper. I love capturing their character and turning them into hand-drawn illustrations, stories, and designs. Some of these ideas become books, while others become prints, stationery, or simply little pieces of art to enjoy.

You’ll also find my Sun Print projects here, along with other creative experiments and paper goods. I enjoy exploring different ways of bringing my drawings and observations to life, so KS Studio will continue to grow and change with new ideas and projects.

My ceramics are another important part of my creative work. Inspired by the beauty and raw nature of Svalbard — its Arctic landscapes, wildlife, colours, textures, ice, sea, and ever-changing light — each piece is handmade and carries a little piece of that inspiration with it.
